It's a preferred bug of mine. That is... the most evocative italian bugs, as you can find in the meadows and the forests. I modelled this one having the real specimen as reference (bug in left hand and mouse in right one).
I used Lightwave from modelling work up to texture and render. Lights are a multipoint set of spots. No radiosity just to give a little feeling of graphical work.
